Always been a casual Greensky fan and have only seen em a couple times, so I came to this song through Billy. Absolutely love it. Great pick by Billy to cover and I'm sure the guys in one of his favorite bands would approve. Kudos to Paul Hoffman and GB for creating a beautiful timeless song.
Already uploaded a version of this song form Allstate a couple months ago. When I started recording I almost stopped knowing that. Glad I didn't! One of the many things about Billy and his band is how they can do two performances of same song and each can be really different when it comes to the jam.

Unfortunately not the first time Billy has had to do this. Probably happens at other artists shows, but Billy often is paying close attention to the crowd and won't hesitate to call out this bullish!t. Fortunately he's able to right back into song where he left off like a pro.

"FTP - Bob Wills & His Texas Playboys Billy dedicated this to the "late, great Bobby Hicks" with whom Billy had the joy of listening to while playing with David Grisman. Also, recorded and released by Bobby Hicks Texas Crapshooter (1970). Hicks passed away Aug. 16, 2024 at age 91 and is universally considered a legend in Bluegrass.' -BillyBase

Very cool seeing them in a stadium. Sound was good but not as good as normal, but I expected that. Think they made some new fans including guy next to me who flew in from Puerto Rico. He said he had never heard of them but “They are definitely going on my playlist!” Stones were great especially for their age. Fun night!

I know there tons of videos of this song already on youtube. However this was the best I've personally experienced and was requested by someone in the comment section on another video I uploaded from this show. Kebbi's sax intro is sublime.
